very concerning. apparently QLD drivers have had to get medical clearance from a doctor to drive if they're autistic since 2012.

QLD is unsurprisingly very strict about this, but other states are adopting these measures. Link below has info on each state.

Australia continues to make life hell for the disabled people living there. It's unbearable the schemes they come up with to extort us. (As in collectively us disabled folks; i dont live there anymore)

Shit like this is why people need to understand that sometimes self-diagnosis is the only option you have. You become a lesser citizen once you have the label and it stays with you forever. If the reward of a diagnosis outweighs the risk for you, be very thankful that either those in power are lax with you OR... that regulations to oppress you noticeably don't exist yet.

The risk is often the heavier burden. It gives a lot of people a LOT of problems. You know yourself best.
